SWANAGE Town and Herston FC have appointed Craig Adams as their first team manager.
Adams plied his trade as a player at Northampton Town, as well as playing for non-league clubs including Kings Lynn and Rugby Town.
He has a wealth of experience within football, having held managerial roles at Wellingborough Town FC and Bedford Town, and as assistant manager at Biggleswade Town and St Ives Town FC.
Adams has also had a spell coaching at Peterborough United FC’s academy.
A UEFA A licence holder, he recently moved to Dorset and brought success to Weymouth FC’s U23s, taking them to the Hampshire Combination U23 Challenge Cup Final.
Swanage hold aspirations to play in the Wessex League and Adams has agreed to help the club try to reach their goals.
Manuel Laurijssen will remain as Adams’ assistant, having played an integral part in the club’s recent development.
Adams’ first game in charge will be in the Dorset Premier League Cup against Sherborne Reserves at Day’s Park.
