POOLE Town have secured the services of experienced winger Alefe Santos for the 2023-24 Southern League Premier South campaign.
Santos, 28, arrives at the BlackGold Stadium having spent the previous two seasons at Chippenham Town in National League South.
The Sao Paulo-born wide man recorded seven goals in 56 league games for the Bluebirds.
Back in 2012, Santos burst onto the scene as a 17-year-old for Bristol Rovers, making his debut in a League Two loss at Port Vale.
He did enough to earn his first professional contract with the Gas and went on to make 27 appearances, scoring his first EFL goal against Mansfield, salvaging a 1-1 draw in the 84th minute.
Santos later signed a two-year deal with Derby County but played just one match before joining Notts County and later Eastleigh on loan.
He revived his EFL ambitions with a deal at League Two side Yeovil Town but could not save the Glovers from relegation in 2018-19.
Santos went on to feature at Aldershot Town in the Covid-curtailed campaign before joining Weymouth during the 2020-21 season under former Cherries midfielder Brian Stock.
However, he managed only one assist in eight games before the Terras parted company with him, preceding a switch to Chippenham.
