LUCY Macgregor admitted Great Britain’s match racing girls had finished day two of their campaign “disappointed”.
Macgregor, sister Kate and Annie Lush , started with a victory in race three against Portugal in Weymouth yesterday.
That made it two wins from three races for the Poole girls, dubbed ‘MacLush’.
But defeat against Olivia Price’s Australian crew left them on 50 per cent in the overall standings following two wins and two defeats.
Lucy Macgregor said: “We won our first race, but were a bit disappointed with the last race, so have ended the day with a bit of a disappointing feeling.
“The crowds have been awesome, even when we were losing there were still cheers.
“We’re here to do a job and the best way to do that job is to come away with a medal.”
‘MacLush’ are back in action for Elliot 6m races five and six today.
The trio take on Finland at 2.45pm, before clashing with the French crew at 4.30pm.
Both the Finnish and French crews also have a 50 per cent record.
