FIREFIGHTERS from Wareham and Swanage tackled a large vehicle fire in Swanage.
DWFRS were alerted to reports of a large vehicle fire in Kings Road West at around 8am this morning.
Large clouds were spotted from nearby roads in the residential area.
Crews worked to extinguish the blaze.
It is believed that the vehicle involved in the incident was a bin lorry.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service said: “Firefighters from Swanage and Wareham were called to reports of a large vehicle fire in Kings Road West, Swanage at 7.47am this morning (31 October).
“Firefighters remain on scene at this time using two hose reels to extinguish the fire.”
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
