A MAN in his 40s was attacked by a group of three men in Bournemouth in an alleged racially aggravated assault, police have reported.
The victim was riding a beryl scooter in Beale Place at around 5:30 am on September 1 when the assault occurred with one of the men reported to have punched the victim in the face.
He was able to run away after the group of men allegedly racially abused the man.
Detective Inspector Darren Moores, of BCP CID, said: “We take all reports of hate crime and public place violence very seriously and we have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident.
“As a result of these enquiries, we have obtained CCTV images of a man we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.
“I would urge anyone with information regarding this man’s identity to please contact us.”
Dorset Police confirmed that the victim attended hospital and received treatment for injuries.
