A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a ‘nasty’ crash with a car in Canford Heath.
Police were called to Adastral Road at 5.20pm on September 17 after reports of the collision.
The road remained open while the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
The mother of the motorcyclist shared on social media her thanks to a local nurse who helped during the incident.
“Thank you massively to the nurse who stopped by and stayed helping and the other couple of people who helped us and supported,” she said.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 5.20pm on Tuesday 17 September 2024 of a collision on Adastral Road involving a car and a motorcycle.
“Officers attended and it was reported that the road was not blocked.
“The motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.”
