ON YARMOUTH Pier there are names all along the pier of people from the IoW who have passed away and have been remembered by their family.
In return the families donate to keep the pier up together and repaired.
What a wonderful idea to do in Bournemouth.
We could pay to have a lost member of our family remembered by a plaque or engraving on the pier and raise money to have our pier repaired and functional again.
Or is that too easy for the council to put into action.
