PLANS have been submitted to demolish a property and build three detached houses in Bournemouth.
A planning application has been prepared on behalf of Park Place Properties LTD to demolish the existing property and erect three detached houses.
The site at 53 Cavendish Road is approximately 1,110 square metres and is situated on the southern side of the road which is currently occupied by a two-storey dwelling.
Despite not being a heritage asset, the site is situated within Dean Park Conservation Area.
The application states: “The proposed development would provide a traditional, high-quality sustainable development that positively responds with neighbouring properties and the conservation area through sympathetic consideration of scale, layout and design.”
Each of the proposed properties will have vehicular access, off-road parking, and front and rear gardens with “meaningful soft landscaping, including new tree planting to help integrate the built form with the surrounding area, while enhancing biodiversity onsite.”
