THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

DOMINIC MARSDEN, 40 and of Christchurch, admitted being in charge of vehicle while unfit through drugs in Southampton Road in Lymington on November 22, 2023. He admitted using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, and a second charge of driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs, in The Grove in Christchurch on November 8, 2023. He admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates Court on August 23. He admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on April 9. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and handed a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months.

RORY PADFIELD, 42 and of Harford Road in Poole, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely 0.6g of cocaine, in police custody in Bournemouth on March 2. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

ARTUR CHOCHEL, 34 and of Milton Road in Bournemouth, admitted burglary dwelling and theft, after entering The Granary Bakery in Bournemouth on November 17, 2023, and stealing soft drinks and pastries. He admitted four counts of theft from a shop after stealing alcohol to the value of £146.65 from Co-op in Charminster Road in Bournemouth on January 31, stealing confectionery, body wash and shampoo, to the value of £54.20 from One Stop in Ripon Road in Bournemouth on February 11, stealing food and household items to the value of £337.50 from One Stop in Ripon Road in Bournemouth on February 15, and stealing confectionery, food and household items to the value of £229.10 from One Stop in Ripon Road in Bournemouth on February 18. He admitted three counts of harassment - breach of a restraining order on conviction, after entering One Stop in Ripon Road in Bournemouth on February 11, 15 and 18, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order. He admitted using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance and driving a motor vehicle on a road after refusal of grant / revocation of driving licence on account of disability in Milton Road in Bournemouth on December 21, 2023. He was handed a 15-week prison sentence, running consecutive to a sentence he is already serving at Winchester prison. He got six points on his driving licence. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £206.91.
