FOOD waste and refuse has not been collected from 85 streets in the BCP conurbation.

Refuse was not collected from 24 streets in the BCP conurbation the council has reported with food waste was also not collected from 61 streets in the area.

Meant to have been collected on August 27, no date has been given on when BCP council will re-attempt to collect the waste with it asking residents to leave bins out so the waste can be 'collected as soon as possible'.

A spokesperson for BCP Council said: "Sometimes bin collections are missed due to operational problems, or access issues.

"We have been unable to collect the following roads on 27 August, please leave your bins out and we will collect them as soon as possible"

Roads on the refuse list include Argyll Road, Shelley Park, and Undercliff Road while Durley Chine Road, Iford Lane, and Vitality Stadium can be found on the roads that were missed in the food waste collection.

17 streets can be found on both lists, which include Adeline Road, Christchurch Road, Sea Road, Undercliff Road, and Westby Road.

The Daily Echo has asked BCP Council for further comment.
