AIR Festival organisers have warned that drones are banned from the event.
The annual four-day spectacle will showcase a range of different aircrafts, completing displays in the sky from August 29 to September 1.
The festival organisers set out to remind the public that the event is a “drone free zone” and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are strictly prohibited and are not to be flown at the event site.
It is against the law for any of these crafts to be flown within the restricted airspace that is established at the Air Festival to protect participating aircraft and display teams.
Officials are under strict rules to cancel the flying display programme if drones are flying in the dedicated approved air space.
Please be aware drone operators will be prosecuted.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Air Festival said: “Please do not bring any UAS or UAVs to the festival.
“Be a responsible festival goer.”
