A NEW vets’ surgery is being planned for the Axium Centre at Lytchett Minister.
The planning request for the Dorchester Road property comes from Pet Health Partnership Vets to change unit No 8 from its last use as a office, to a surgery.
The proposals includes a reception and three consultation rooms, waiting areas, a dental room. theatre, a cat and dog ward and an X-ray room. Offices, staff space and a laboratory are proposed for the first floor.
The building was last used as four offices. The veterinary practise has other surgeries in the area at Upton and Wareham.
Other new planning applications to Dorset Council in the area, open for public comment, include a request from the Blue Pool to retain two treehouses, built without consent two years ago, and alternations to the Leeson House Field Studies Centre.
Other Purbeck planning applications include the conversion of a home in Swanage town centre to a furnished holiday let.
