THREE people were taken to hospital after three cars crashed on a Dorset road.
Emergency services closed the A354 near Cashmoor, just north of Blandford, on Thursday evening, August 9 for several hours.
A Vauxhall Corsa, Mercedes C-Class and Citroen C3 were all involved in a crash at 3.47pm, prompting a huge response.
Police officers, paramedics and two fire crews from Verwood and Blandford fire stations all attended the crash.
A road closure was put in place for more than three hours while emergency services dealt with the aftermath and recovered the cars.
Dorset Police’s spokeswoman said the injuries were “slight” and that three people had to be taken to hospital.
A spokeswoman for the South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.51pm on Thursday, August 8 to a road traffic collision near Cashmoor, Dorset.
"We sent three double-crewed land ambulances, and an operations officer to the scene. We conveyed three patients by land ambulances to Sailsbury District Hospital”.
