A BARBER was left shocked when McFly drummer, Harry Judd, sat in his chair ahead of the band’s Camp Betsival concert.

Andy Pritchett, owner of Barnet’s Barbers in Wareham, recognised the drummer when he walked in on Friday, July 26.

The pop rock band were set to headline at Camp Bestival that evening, on the grounds of Dorset’s Lulworth Castle.

“He [Harry] said he had looked online for local barbers and ours came up as the top so asked if we could fit him in,” said Andy.

“I said has anyone ever told you that you look like a famous drummer and he said he was that famous drummer, I couldn’t believe it.”

Andy said that Harry was “really chatty, a nice guy and very family driven.

“You wouldn’t believe he’s famous, he is really humble and talks about his family and music but not about other celebrities.

“I asked about Strictly Come Dancing and he said he’d leave it as it was but that he had a good time in the show.”

Andy said that Harry was a good sport for all the staff and customers eager to take photos and was reportedly speaking to other residents along the quay.

He added that Harry said he had returned from a family holiday in Cornwall and was waiting for his band mates to pick him up from Wareham.

Another local business, New Image Hair and Beauty Salon also shared that Harry’s wife paid them a visit.
