A MAN spat at a police officer after he was pulled over.
The motorist was in a white Ford Focus in Boscombe on Wednesday, July 24, when Dorset Traffic Cops spotted him.
According to the officers, he was wanted for failing to appear in court for alleged drug driving and was stopped at the side of the road.
He was further arrested on suspicion of drug driving and other traffic offences, but when he allegedly spat at an officer, he was had an additional arrest on him.
A spokesman for the traffic police said: “On Wednesday July 24, 2024 officers from C squad interceptors stopped a male they had been looking for as he failed to appear at court for drug driving.
“With the assistance of Boscombe neighbourhood policing team, the male was detained for this, and on suspicion of drug possession and other traffic offences.
“However during the stop the male spat in one of the officers faces, leading him to be further arrested for this as well.”
