A NEW walking initiative is being introduced to Wimborne Minster for residents and visitors.
Wimborne Minster Town Council has lined up 'monthly Mayoral walks’ to take place in the town.
The walks will offer an informative journey through the history and culture of Wimborne Minster, led by local experts.
They will last for approximately one hour, setting off from the Town Square at 11am.
Wimborne Minster Town Council has described the initiative as a ‘wonderful opportunity’ for people to learn more about Wimborne Minster, meet new people, and enjoy a relaxed morning stroll.
The first walk will take place on Sunday, July 21, and walks have also been lined up for August 18, September 22, October 20, November 24 and December 8.
Going into 2025, the walks will take place on January 26, February 16, March 23, and April 20.
Each walk will be free to join, but donations to the Mayor's charities, Planet Wimborne & Friends of Victoria Hospital, will be welcomed.
There is no need to book a space, simply turn up.
