A "best-of-both-worlds" high street has been named among the loveliest in the UK, according to a new list.
Lymington High Street was named among the seven featured in an article from The Times, and was the only one from the county.
Discussing the creation of the list, the publication wrote: "When four years ago it saw that our British high streets were emptier and shabbier, Historic England went on a shopping spree, injecting almost £100m into a new programme across 67 notable shopping streets (a project known as High Streets Heritage Action Zones)."
They continued: "These high streets will go on to survive and thrive over the next few years, and here are seven of the buzziest — so bustling you can base a weekend round them."
The full list of the seven high streets included in the list can be found on The Times website here.

The Times wrote: "This is a best-of-both-worlds high street where the architectural grandeur of a market town (markets are still held every Saturday from 8am to 3pm) can be enjoyed alongside seaside souvenir shops and the smell of the ocean — the road terminates on Lymington River, from where boats sail to the Isle of Wight.
"In terms of shops, Willow is excellent for homewares (willowlifestyle.com) while BBL stocks brilliant, under-the-radar women’s fashions (7 Quay Street).
"Stay at Stanwell House, a Georgian boutique hotel, which makes its own contribution to the townscape next door in the form of Stanwells store, which sells cult European labels such as Isabel Marant and Golden Goose."
