A CLOSURE order has been sought for a property in Bournemouth.
BCP Council has applied for a closure order at 12 Cunningham Place - a home in the area of West Howe.
The application follows the service of a notice on Wednesday, June 12, and has been made in accordance with section 80 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
Poole Magistrates’ Court was due to hear the local authority’s application on Thursday, June 13, but the hearing was adjourned until Friday, June 21.
The court ordered that the closure notice served by BCP Council is extended until 23:59 on this date.
Court records show the occupants of 12 Cunningham Place oppose the closure order application.
The Daily Echo contacted BCP Council to ask why the closure order was sought.
The local authority would not comment due to it being a live case.
