A DORSET theatre is to host a recording of an historic BBC Radio 4 programme.
The debate show Any Questions? was first broadcast in 1948.
It will be recorded at The Mowlem in Shore Road, Swanage on Friday, March 8 at 6.30pm.
Around 1.59 million people listen to the programme each week, the majority of them hearing the Saturday lunchtime repeat.
It tours around different UK towns offering residents the chance to put forward topical questions to panelists, including political party leaders and prime ministers.
It is not yet known who the panellists will be in Swanage.
Presented by BBC political correspondent Alex Forsyth, tickets are free but must be booked with a maximum of four per person.
The Mowlem Theatre said it is “pleased” to announce the show will be recorded at the venue and that it adds to the “growing programme of music, comedic entertainment, film screenings and arts performances”.
Tickets can be bought via the Box Office and The Mowlem’s website.
