The main hall in a Christchurch leisure complex has re-opened after a month of work.
The hall at Two Riversmeet Leisure Complex, Christchurch, was reopened to members on January 16 after the floor was resurfaced.
The revamp that started on December 18 was to fix an uneven surface.
Deputy leader of BCP Council Cllr Millie Earl said: "The resurfacing of the main hall was a result of natural wear and tear over time, with fitness classes reduced or relocated to other or different areas of the hall, and I’d like to thank loyal customers for their patience during this time.
“The facilities at Two Riversmeet Leisure Complex are outstanding and this is reflected in the accolades the complex – as well as the dedicated staff – are awarded every year."
The main hall is used for a wide range of facilities, many of which were delayed, relocated, and reduced in capacity.
Cllr Earl said: "We remain dedicated to delivering an exceptional standard of activities and services to our community and will always strive for continuous service and facility improvement wherever possible.”
