Sandbanks Ferry is running again after a technical issue on Sunday morning.
Vehicles were sent on a 25 mile diversion route via Poole, Lytchett Minster and Wareham.
The cause of the issue has not been specified.
The company announced they were back working at 2pm on Sunday.
The service is currently suspended due to a mechanical fault. We will issue hourly updates

Bus service provider, MoreBus, put diversions in place on the 50 service.
They diverted via Poole, Wareham and Corfe Castle while the ferry was repaired.
Passengers were told to allow extra time for their journey.
