SMITH Barbara Passed away peacefully on 14th December 2022 at the Ashley Arnewood Manor Care Home, New Milton, aged 90 years. R.I.P. Former Borough Councillor for Winton Ward. Beloved wife of the late Eric, dearly loved mother of Duncan, Janet Eirwen and Adrian Also a loving grandmother and great grandmother Funeral Service at St. John's Church, Moordown on Monday 16th January at 2pm. Family flowers only please but donations in memory of Barbara are for St. John's Church, Moordown (please make cheques payable to W. Smith & Sons Ltd Donation Account) and may be sent to W. Barbara is a sad loss to our borough. I worked with Barbara as an elected member for two terms and particularly closely on the Environmental committee. I was always impressed by her knowledge, consistency and compassion - especially on those environmental matters. As a neighbour I regularly passed her in her garden whilst out dog walking and she was always happy to chat with an old friend.
