EDWARDS Merfyn Merfyn Cynlas Edwards (13.6.1926 Cefyn Mawr, Cewyd - 2.7.2022 Brisbane, Australia) is predeceased by his wife of 71 years Audrey Jean Edwards (nee Prior) (14.4.1926 Poole, Dorset - 29.5.2019 Brisbane, Australia). Jean Edwards served in the Women's Land Army 1944-1946. Merfyn served in the National Fire Service 1942-1945 and RAF UK - 1943-1945; India Command 1945-1947. The University of Sheffield was his alma mater (Architecture, 1952). He was a practicing Architect in England, Tanganyika, Ghana, and Australia and then taught in the discipline at Ahmadu Bello University (Nigeria), Bristol, Perth (Australia), and the Universities of Newcastle and Queensland (including a Deanship) in Australia. He is survived by his daughters and grandchildren.
