Stephen Gliddon

GLIDDON Stephen (Pops) Stephen Gliddon suddenly and peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday 2nd August 2021, aged 71 years. He was a milkman for most of his working life , working for 30 years for Unigate in Bournemouth. Over the years he survived a heart bypass operation in 1995 and several strokes. Most recently in 2018 he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and had an operation to remove this. He bravely recovered and we were lucky enough to have 3 more years with him. He was a wonderful husband to Pat, dad to Lucy and Stephen, father-in-law to Brad, grandad to Shanice, Brandon and Nathan, and great-grandad to Miabella. He was so friendly and kind, nothing was ever too much trouble and he would be there to help anyone in need at any time day or night. He will truly be missed by his family and many friends, who will fondly remember his bad jokes and many stories he would tell. All are welcome to his funeral service at Bournemouth Crematorium on Wednesday 11th August 2021 at 2pm.
