I dunno why I expected more from a title with a name like Killing Floor, but when you've got so many decent zombie games littering the place, simply delivering the basics just doesn't cut it.
Get a gun, kills some 'Zeds', run to the next bit, upgrade your gun, rinse and repeat.
Sure there's some okay multiplayer goodness to stick your face into but the endless slaughter of some ridiculous foes becomes boring thunderously quickly.
Maybe it's an antidote to today's more complex software but it just feels a little too half-baked.
Mindless fun for about 15 minutes, pointless boredom thereafter.
